OSIL (Ocean Scientific International Ltd.) have been appointed by Sonardyne International Ltd to be the sole distributor for their acoustic release transponder product range for the UK and Ireland. Sonardyne’s durable releases are relied upon worldwide for the efficient retrieval of moored underwater equipment and have a proven track record in a wide variety of oceanographic applications. OSIL will be distributing Sonardyne’s LRT, ORT/DORT, Heavy Load DORT and P-DORT, which allows them to provide releases for a cross-section of environments including coastal and offshore waters to full ocean depth. Sonardyne’s acoustic releases are well known for their reliable and cost-effective designs and are ideal for securing light or heavy loads for short or long-term deployments.
